Phone Scams Want Your Card Number – Hang Up and Call the Bank Yourself

The Quick Take

When someone calls you, never share your card number, its security code, or a code texted to your phone, however official the caller sounds or whatever your caller ID shows. Hang up and call the number on the back of your card. If something is wrong with your account, the bank can tell you on that call. Source
